The signal was reliable and fast almost anywhere, except a few railway galleries and mountain valleys (but that is expected and wasn't a problem). The only small issue we had was that the device was with 0% battery at the pickup, but with the power bank provided we could charge and turn it on in a few minutes before leaving airport.
Overall it was a reliable and easy to use service, which I would recommend.

It was very easy to use and essential for getting around town

The wifi was picked up from the airport without extra hassle and for the 2 weeks we travelled around Japan we had this little pocket wonder with us and we did not have to worry about finding Wi-Fi spots. Worked well at least in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima - would think the same goes for most of the major cities.

Upon departure we followed the instructions given along with the package and dropped the device to the airport's postbox.

Highly recommend this for your stay in Japan to make sure you get the most out of your trip and don't need to stress about finding internet.

Good. But was missing an AC adapter when it arrived. And worst of all, in order to ship it back we HAD to put one of ours in order to be accepted the package. Good product, back experience.
