Very happy with the rental. I was sent a replacement router as the connection with the extra battery was loose. Got it very quickly. I have been very pleased with speed too. Would recommend !

If you're looking for a reliable wifi, this is the one for you. It goes to a very rural area with no problem. However with that much money you're paying you are hoping to reach download speed close to 187mpbs. If anything I only get close to 50mbps (download) & 26mbps (upload) in major area like Tokyo & Osaka. If you don't mind with that speed that it should be fine. Easy to pick up and return so that's a plus also.

From booking online from the US/ collecting the device at the hotel to dropping it off at the airport before departure- the Japan wireless was fantastic.. great connection, back up battery, clear instructions.
Highly recommend japan wireless and will most certainly use it again in future travels to Japan.
