Since my mobile company did not give me any service in japan i rented this device for 2 weeks so i could navigate using google maps and allot of other nice online services!

Super handy little router that bearly takes up space in your backpack in, it allso comes in this nice little pouch you can have the power bank in that come with it, you also get a outlet charger for japanese outlets and the USB-cable. (You get every thing you need.)

You can be connected with up to 5 people at the same time so your whole squad can enjoy the unlimited mobile data!

the router was small and light and easy to carry. Internet speed was very good in Tokyo, but not as fast in Fukuoka. online ordering and delivery was very quick. I had it delivered to my hotel and received it promptly as soon as I arrived. Overall, a good purchase and necessary for getting around.

The prepaid data-only SIM worked perfectly in Tokyo and in the country in Gujo. It worked fine in my OnePlus 5 handset, even though that phone is not on the compatible device list. A handier and cheaper solution for me than having to carry around a pocket WiFi.

Smooth process and no glitches whatsoever, as usual.

I replaced my own SIM with the JW data SIM (I wouldn't have used my phone anyway as calls or texts would have been ridiculously expensive) and had constant, easy access to the internet, google maps, travel apps and calls and messages from friends and family on WhatsApp throughout my holiday, where ever I was, with absolutely no fear of running up a bill or being out of range of a wifi hotspot. It was cheaper than renting a mifi and meant I didn't have to carry a second bit of kit everywhere. Heartily recommend as a good-value "keeping connected" solution.

Really useful for our recent trip to Tokyo. Picked up at the hotel and posted back the day before we left. Easy, and cost effective. Highly recommend for any travellers who don’t want to purchase a separate SIM card.

The battery could last for the whole day. The battery pack they include with the rental makes it even better if you forget to charge the pocket WiFi overnight. I plan to use Japan Wireless when I visit again.
