I was able to quickly install the esim and get on the 5G network in no time. It was a tricky that I had to scan the QR code from my own phone. So I had to use another phone to do it. But overall, it was smooth and very useful.

This is my third time visiting Japan, but my first time trying this portable WiFi service and it did not disappoint.

I travelled around the Tokyo area only, but whether I was in an alleyway or a train, the WiFi service was always very fast. I travelled with 1 family member and even with the both of us using the WiFi for a whole week, the WiFi never slowed down. We got the Unli-WiFi package for those wondering. On top of the WiFi being fast, it was also very simple to pick up when I arrived at Narita airport, as well as drop off when I was leaving the country. No hassle. I'll definitely be using this portable WiFi again during my next visit.

We spent two weeks in Japan with a WiFi mobile router, and it delivered. We’re a family of five and it went really well.
The only downside was the powerbank that came with the router, that failed to power the latter. But since we had one with us, we had no problem. The router had juice for half a day of continuous use, so the powerbank is mandatory.
So, highly recommended - and the price is great.

O serviço de recolha no aeroporto é muito facil e o de entrega é só colocar no correio. O pocket wi-fi funcionou sem qualquer problema e vem com um cabo e carregador e um powerbank de 5000. Apenas o powerbank já estava um pouco viciado, tendo uma menor capacidade de carga do pocket wi-fi ou de um telemovel, mas não foi critico. Correu sempre tudo bem, nunca falhou e o suporte foi muito eficiente. Contactei porque nao estava a conseguir carregar, mas facilmente resolvi. Recomendo vivamente para possuir wi-fi no Japão.
