I used to order SIM card. This time I use Japan wireless. I found it is much better

Was able to pick up my pocket wifi easily before leaving the airport, and had great coverage from the streets of Tokyo to gorges in rural Shikoku! Great experience and easy returns for a great price. Will definitely use this service on my next trip to Japan.

Great service and welcome at the post office of Osaka Airport.
Nevertheless we had to charge the pocket wifi more often than usually during our trip. Perhaps was it too old ?

Japan Wireless made our trip so much easier.
The Wi-Fi device was reliable and set up was easy. It also included a battery which was a life saver on long train rides! It was also stress free to pick up and return our device at the airport. We were running late for our departure and it only took seconds to put the device in the prepaid envelope and return it to the post office.

Let’s be real, WiFi is life. And when you’re in a new country where you know very little of the language and need Google maps to look up which train or platform you should be on, having a pocket WiFi is essential! We had early starts to our day almost every day so around 1-3 pm we would have to remember to charge it (either by finding a coffee shop with outlets or returning to our accommodation). Not a huge inconvenience and would definitely use this service again!

Dead easy to pick up from the airport and then you are connected more or less wherever you are including trains and subway. Enables you to use google maps to get you around and choose the best routes and track where you are in real time. Unlimited data is t and the high speed option allows streaming. Indispensible!
