It worked very well. Very useful to have the powerback as wifi-deivce sometimes ran low on battery towards the end of the day. We had unlimited wifi but at one point the device indicated that we had used our full allowance of wifi but we ignored that and it continued to work :-)

i was partly skeptical about this device and how long the battery life would be and if it would "actually" work. i didn't travel to the remote places I had initially planned because of a last minute acceptance to an 11 day meditation course, but i cannot emphasize how easy it was to setup to my phone, how well it worked and how much i relied on wifi for trains and directions to all the many, many temples i visited. it was the easiest process to rent and even easier to return at Narita airport. i had emailed questions multiple times from the States and responses were very quick, in English, and they were so appreciative and thankful in every single response. highly recommend this company!!! it would have cost $12/day with my Verizon account, this was under $100 for 28 days.
