Our pocket Wifi was extremely helpful while traveling around Japan. There were a few areas where it had trouble connecting with our phones, and it's important to keep it charging overnight, but otherwise we had no issues.

I always rent a wireless WIFI from Japan wireless and only Japan wireless.

We used the device for about ten days as a wifi hot spot for 3 phones and it worked perfectly everywhere. Pickup and drop off without any problems.

Coverage was excellent throughout Japan (except at sea), speed high enough, and the included powerbank was handy also for a phone. Good value when shared with a travel companion / group.

The pocket wifi by Japan Wireless was a good choice. Pick-up at Kansai Airport went smooth and from the moment it is turned on you can use it. Fully charged battery is mandatory when you head out on your day programme, but with the powerbank given there is never a moment without wifi. All in all a great experience!

Best solution! Unlimited internet, reliable device. We used it for all day with two phones connected and we even didn't need the powerbank that was anyway included. Super easy to pick up and drop off.
