I requested for the Pocket wifi to be delivered to my Tokyo hotel, which was waiting for me when I checked in! The Pocket wifi is easy to use (connect to the wifi name and input the passcode on the side of the Pocket wifi). The wifi is strong and can be used on the metro or intercity trains (bullet train). The Pocket wifi is small enough to fit in your pocket and has a good battery life (lasts 10 hours).

Very simple service. Order ahead of time, pick up the mini cell service wifi router at airport counter when arriving, make the wifi connection to it, charge as needed (lasts at least as long as the smart phone), and when leaving, drop off everything in the provided return mailer at the airport Japan Postal Service collection box before going through the security check. Didn't encounter any cell phone network service issues.

We ordered the business wifi during our stay in Tokyo and Kyoto. We found it extremely easy to use snd very helpful in helping us use the trains and sightseeing.

This was the most efficient way to have service while traveling in Japan. It was great to have to navigate and plan train rides. Our experience of picking up, using and returning was without any issues.

We had a very good experience with the wifi box, Our only complaint was sometimes it would cut off and be unavailable on rare occasions.
