Great service / easy pick up and return .

Setup unnecessarily difficult due to lack of English language option on setup screen and an ambiguous printed instruction sheet but once set up, the service is excellent. Would be 5 stars with clear setup instructions.

The device worked very well and was very useful. Five us were using it for about six devices.
Battery life was about just six hours, needed charging after that.

Great service

First of all recieving and returning the gear was as easy as it can get.
The connection is superb with High speed everywhere, good speed even in the more remote areas.
The only downside I can find is that on long days, the provided powerbank falls just short of keeping mobile accesspoint powered, this was easily fixed with the use of one of our own powerbanks.

The Japan Wireless wifi made it easy to travel around Japan without getting lost.

Picking up and dropping off the drive was a breeze. I went with the business service (75Mbps) and it was plenty fast in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Kobe. I didn't expect that the signal would be reliable while riding the Shinkansen but it worked there too.
The free power bank came in handy many times to power my other devices.
I ended up using 180GB of data due to the synching of over 6,000 pictures over three devices and we had up to 5 devices connected to the hotspot and its battery lasted a whole day most of the time. Money well spent, including on insurance, thanks Japan Wirelse's, I'm sure I'll use your services again.
