I went to Japan recently with my friends and we got a pocket wifi each. It was super convenient and simple to use. I highly recommend getting one when on a trip. It was small and compact it fit in my purse or bag. Depending on usage you may need to bring along the charger they provide but if not then it should last the whole day.

Easy pickup and drop-off. Reliable service for our cross country trip to Japan.

Service was solid Tokyo to Osaka. Instructions were clear. Charger was a USB Micro. Backup battery was definitely required for long, full days.

Setup was not straightforward, as the QR code to download the eSIM worked, but the Access Point name was not configured. Had to combine with the manual setup instructions.
Worked perfectly afterwards, for the whole duration of the stay.

Great experience, WiFi puck was delivered to my Tokyo hotel room as promised, use was very simple & had awesome WiFi service my whole trip in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima).

Great value in terms of cost, and will definitely do this again on my next Japan trip.

I would recommend this product for anyone travelling around japan. Easy to use and reliable.
