The WiFi router was fast and reliable. Battery lasted long. Hardly ever had to use the extra battery that was provided. Will use this service again.

Optimal service

Excellent product that worked well in Tokyo, Kyoto and in between as well as all over Okinawa. Great service. Easy drop off at airport.
I made the mistake of having the unit delivered to a local post office and didn’t pick it up at the assigned time. Unfortunately the post office was closed on the weekend and the Monday was a holiday so I couldn’t get it that day either and I was travelling from Tokyo to Kyoto that Monday. Japan Wireless sent another unit to Kyoto for a small charge and it was waiting for me there. This time I had them send it to a 24/7 post office and had no trouble picking it up. I didn’t use the extra battery often because I didn’t need to. I picked up a small pack to carry the unit, spare battery and my cell phone. Using the pocket wifi I was able to use my phone on wifi only so I didn’t have to pay roaming charges. I could also share the pocket wifi with multiple devices and was easily able to stream movies at night. Overall I was quite happy with the unit.
