Japan Wireless is the best alternative for any tourist visiting this beautiful country that need to stay connected at all times without restrictions.

The pick up at the airport option was very convenient, the setup is seamless and the service was uninterrupted and very reliable during my visit. I would fully recommend this option to everyone traveling to Japan and I wish more countries would adopt this technology for their visitors

Wifi is hard to come by when in Japan so I thought I would rent a pocket wifi device while in Japan for 2 weeks and I am so glad I did. Counter is super easy to find at the airport. No set-up. Turn it on and select the wifi name that is written on the device and you are good to go. I had my device on all day and it did not run out of battery. If you were to run out of battery, they also give you a charger pack free of charge to use during your rental. Super reliable, fast wifi. And easy return. They provide you with an envelope to put everything in when finished and you can just pop it in a letterbox at the airport before the departure gate.

Easy to order and collect. Simple to use and set up with excellent coverage ( didn't ever lose coverage wherever we went). Good battery life and quick charge and easy to drop off in the envelope provided at the airport. If you are travelling in Japan this is a fantastic piece of kit as being connected to the internet for maps, timetables, tourist info etc was priceless. So much cheaper than paying roaming charges. Very impressed and would recommend Japan Wireless without hesitation.

Worked perfectly

For the few days that my sim card worked, it was a life saver. I could not speak the language and needed my google translate to feel like I had some control over my trip. I had a 7 day sim card that expired around day 3 but by then I had met up with my daughter who lived there. I am not sure why it crashed after day three.. we tried to get it to work but none the less.. highly recommend. super easy and I didn't have to carry a pocket wifi.. When I returned home, all I did was pop in my sim card from my home country and I was back on track.

One thing I would suggest is to put a sim card tool in the package. I had to go to a telephone carrier to open my phone and put the sim card in. Thank goodness they were gracious about it and helped me out.

I always use japan-wireless when my family and I visit Japan. Customer service is great!
