I have used Japan Wireless multiple times when traveling in Japan, and I highly recommend using them for Pocket Wi-Fi instead of using a Travel Sim.

We rented a mobile Wi-Fi during our recent trip to Japan for 10 days. It was great to be able to use Google map for driving. Only issue we had was the battery life. It was generally good but it died while exploring Tokyo station area. After that, we made sure it was charged fully when we leave hotel. Overall, excellent product at reasonable price.

This pocket WiFi device is your best friend. The battery life is excellent, never ran low during the day even as it’s on all day. The WiFi connectivity is also very reliable, never had any issue or service interruption.

Had a hard time looking for the pick up area but nonetheless all was good. Wifi has no cap which is great even brought it from tokyo to nagoya and no problems.

Wifi worked great throughout Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara! No issues with anything, and delivery to hotel was done by the time arrival as promised. Will definitely be using again next time!
