I had previously rented a mobile hotspot from Japan Wireless and it was great. But, the freedom of the internet just working seamlessly on my phone proved invaluable. Wether it was ordering food at Tokyo Disneyland on their mobile app or requesting a taxi, having a fast connection on my phone was a lifesaver. Just do it!

Easy to pick up at a kiosk in Haneda Airport and drop off at the post box at airport. The equipment works, no problems.

This is our third time using Japan Wireless and it's always a super convenient way to stay well connected across Japan. The portable wi-fi is really easy to use and offers a good connection. If I had one gripe, it would be that the power pack provided did not keep much charge and would only offer a very short amount of additional power.

Worked pretty well. I had zero issues. The only thing that I wanted easier to see/know was how much data I have already used or have left. Any kind of indicator on your side would’ve been nice.
