Rented this in Feb 2024. No issues picking up in HND airport. Connected to the pocket WiFi easily. Stayed in Shinjuku for a few days and then went to Lake Kawaguchiko for a few days. Never had an issue with connecting to WiFi. Some nights the WiFi was faster than the hotel’s WiFi. The drop off was just as simple as the pick up. Highly recommend.

Everything was easy peasy! The only regret is that I didn’t order it a day in advance.

You want something very simple and easy to use, then this is all you need. Simple!

I loved how convenient and useful this pocket wifi was when we traveled to Japan. From door to door delivery to giving it back via just the mailbox. Internet was fast also and can accomodate 4-5 devices (we think it was still fast enough for google maps and translation + basic social media scrolling & posting)

No issues and it picked up signal in some remote areas. Very handy for a few travelers on a skit trip.
