We ordered the wifi in Canada and picked up in Japan. It was waiting for us in the hotel already when we arrived. Never lost any signal and enough to share within 4 of us all the time. Have to carry the spare battery as need to replace in the middle of the day. But in general, a very reliable company and very good service. Bound to rent it again when we visit Japan in the future.

We had a small issue in pickup with some cables missing, this was quickly resolved and the divide was flawless

This pocket wifi was great to have on our recent trip to Japan. It was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived and we dropped it into a mailbox at the airport as we left. Couldn't be simpler! It made negotiating the transport system so much easier. We could also google to find good restaurants and things to see during our travels. There were three of us logged on to it most of the time. Coverage was excellent and it was so easy to set up and use. Would thoroughly recommend this service.

Worked well, even in the subway stations (mostly)

This product was very helpful during my time in Japan. The battery lasted about 8 hours which is a long time for me. There wasn't really any connection issue.
