5G coverage just about everywhere went in Tokyo and Nagano Prefectures. Would definitely use them again.

This is the second time I have rented and used japan wireless. Definitely the best! Pick up is so simple. And turning in just requires a japan postbox! Would recommend for any traveler!

Easy to load, works perfectly, what more do you want?

We never lost connection in 3 weeks (except in LONG train tunnels - but even then it reconnected almost instantly upon exiting the tunnel). It was fast and reliable, worked on top of ski mountains, in city subways and in rural villages.
We were able to make crystal clear video and phone calls on Facebook messenger and WhatsApp.
Having reliable internet in Japan was probably the best investment we made on this trip as it meant we could communicate, navigate, book tickets and read menus and signs all with just our phone.
Being able to pickup and drop off the wireless at the airport was so easy. We only wish Osaka airport desk stayed open later, as we got through immigration at 857pm, but by the time we found and arrived at the pickup location (outside the airport train station a 2min walk away if you know where you’re going) they had closed at 9pm. So we had to make another journey back to the airport the next day to pickup our pre-booked wireless.
Anyway, we were very happy overall and will definitely use this again next time.
