From ordering to pick up and returning, this was really the easiest and budget friendly experience ever! Expecially for a group of friends this made it so much more convenient to travel around, always having internet and being able to connect with friends and family was such a treat and a life saver because it saved a lot of time

perfect wireless connection with no issues, having the extra battery made it less stressful, we relied on the connection for directions, train information and time schedule.

Everything worked as advertised...fast speed, good price and easy pickup/return. I traveled from Tokyo all the way south and always had connectivity.

Only two issues:
1. The unit was nearly out of battery power...thankfully the supplied external battery had juice and could immediately charge the unit.
2. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the reset instructions...it only needed to be reset once, but it happened out in unfamiliar street area and took a bit of time to get my bearings back to the hotel to read the reset steps (had to pry off back cover to reset and then additional steps).

Overall, I will reserve again on my next return to Japan.

The pocket wifi was easy to pick up at Narita. The wifi worked as advertised. Connection speed is good and the battery life of the pocket wifi was good as well. Setup is very simple. Highly recommend.

100% recommend, wifi is affordable and fast, making navigation around the city seamless, will definitely use again for future Japan trips (purley for Google maps/ train timetable is worth it tenfold) could not fault in any way, pick up and delivery were easy no issues what so ever battery life is very long, only on two occasions needed to bring the charge battery but we left hotel at 8am and returned at 9pm.

You can not survive in Japan without data - It isn't expensive - cheaper than using overseas data plan on my mobile from home. Great reception everywhere we went, lasted all day without recharge and was small - kept it in the from pocket of our backpack. Easy collection and return service made this one of the best and easiest decisions of our whole trip.

I've used this service before, and was impressed at how well they responded to a change in plans (an extension of my planned trip necessitating an extension of the rental). I do like the backup powerbank as a routine, as opposed to other wifi rental companies I've used before. Have already recommended to someone else travelling to Japan in the next few months.

The Japan wireless pocket WiFi is a must when traveling abroad. It makes life easier especially in remote areas. Highly recommend!
