We used Premium WiFi in combinaton with Google Maps for a two-week car trip between Fuji in the north and Hiroshima in the south. It worked excellently without problems, also in the high mountains Nagano region. The only places where it didn't work was in two hotel rooms, where we had access to free WiFi anyhow.

In this time, where we are surrounded by many wifirouters, that are however all passwordprotected, this is an iDEAL solution, that worked flawless. I have had 1 place white it did not connect, but in 99% of my triplocations it worked perfect.

Pocket wifi was one of the smartest most useful tools we had! It made communicating, navigating, and translating super easy all over Japan. The device was reliable, battery lasted a fairly long time, and it was a perk that it came with a charging station already included in the price! The three of people traveling in our group all had great connections everywhere. Pick up and drop off was easy. Highly recommended.

At $50 a week and unlimited data the pocket wifi was a godsend. Up to 5 devices can connect and access to wifi anywhere anytime was very useful. We bought a sins card and never used it. A must have when traveling Japan especially outside of bog cities.

Easy to set up and excellent coverage wherever we went.

I rented a Premium Pocket WiFi from Japan Wireless for my 3 week Japanese tour and found it to be first class in every respect. Always on, very fast, spare battery and excellent customer service. I found it very useful for navigating Tokyo & Kyoto using Google maps. Also used it for checking train times, bus times & routes, temple & shrine information and much more. Highly recommended. I will definitely use Japan Wireless on my next trip to Japan.
