Great wifi service in Japan

We were in Japan for 18 days and this made getting around cities so much easier. There were a couple of time we couldn't connect but for the most part it worked great.

I rent a portable wifi from Japan Wireless every time I go to Japan and it never fails me. I know a lot of people have moved away from the pocket wifi and instead use e sims or other options, but my pocket wifi has saved me from bad hotel/airbnb/hostel wifi many times! Even when out during the day, I would meet up with other travelers who were constantly commenting on their lack of data. I never needed to worry about that! Even as "times change" and many travelers move away from renting a pocket wifi, I will keep relying on them every trip, and Japan Wireless has never let me down. You just can't beat reliable and affordable when it comes to something so vital about your vacation!

I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. The pocket WiFi was waiting for me at my hotel, they included a backup battery for day of heavy usage, their instructions for hooking up our phones were simple and easy, and they even thoughtfully send me a picture of what Japanese mailboxes look like, and which slot to insert the package in when I was ready to return the device. Easy peasy and I’ll do it next time I am in Japan for sure!
