Used it daily for 14 days traveling through Kyoto, Tokyo, and Hiroshima (with various side stops). Never failed and always worked as needed. Speed was great. Worked everywhere (mountains, etc). We charged it nightly but never had battery issues. Pick up and drop off were seamless. Would highly recommend.

Ordered through their website with no problem. Our portable WiFi was ready and waiting for us at our hotel just as I had ordered. Used it without any issues throughout our 10 day stay . . . Osaka, Matsuyama, Uchiko, Hiroshima, Onomichi, Kyoto and Nara. Packed it in the envelope provided and dropped it in the post office box at Kansai . . .

I ordered a Japan Wireless pocket WIFI during a recent Japan stay and it worked flawlessly. The connection and speeds were amazing and the one device worked for myself and 3 other friends that I was traveling with. We had over 5 devices connected to it and it didn't have any issues. The process of receiving and returning the device was easy too. If you're traveling to Japan, getting your device through Japan Wireless is, in my opinion, the only and best way to go!

I used this service for the first time on Oct '18 and I must say it's really good. Easy pick up at Narita Airport, the router was already configured and I just need to Switch it on and connect. Very useful package with an extra portable battery very needed and was quick to sent it back with the ready envelope. The connection never failed me once, but the extra portable battery was really a life saver, without it the router wouldn't had last all day. Good price also. Highly recomended!!! I'll use it again for sure!

I had a great experience using a rental premium WiFi unit from Japan-wireless.com. The order process was very straight forward and completed without any issues. I didn’t submit my order far enough in advance to pick up my unit at the airport (that was my mistake), so I was was emailed with a request for more information so they would be sure that the unit would get to me. Since that pushed back my wireless unit pick up a day, they processed a refund for me. The pick up at the post office went very smoothly, because I had all the information necessary. That was very helpful because I don’t speak Japanese.

Using the unit for the rest of my 9 day trip was super convenient. Instructions provided were clear, getting the unit set up and connecting to it was very easy, and the provided extra battery ensured the unit didn’t run out of battery during a long day of use. I didn’t have to worry about swapping between random WiFi networks at subway/train stations, or finding any unlocked networks when I was trying to navigate on google maps.

Next time we travel to Japan, we’ll definitely rent another WiFi unit, and I plan to pass Japan-wireless’ info to any of my friends/coworkers who are planning trips.
