Fantastic service with excellent coverage and very convenient. I have nothing but praise for this amazing service. I ordered online just 24 to 48 hours prior to my arrival in Japan and it was waiting for me at Narita on the day I arrived. Excellent coverage for the 2 weeks I was there - we traveled Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe and never had any issues. On our way out of the country, we simply placed the wifi + battery in the JapanPost pouch provided and dropped it at the post office located in the Narita terminal. Doesn't get any easier than that. This device was amazing. Worked on trains, in cities even on Nakasendo Road - very rural area. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Do not forget to charge it in between use.

I have rented portable WIFI from Japan Wireless on several occasions and have been pleased every time. The WIFI was always waiting at the hotel upon my arrival and I would leave it at the front desk to mail back to Japan Wireless before leaving the hotel for the airport. The equipment was always in top condition and I have never had any problem with them.

After comparing a few service like this one I’ve decided to choose this one base on multiple reviews and it was the good choice.

I never had a problem with the signal strength or the speed.

The only thing was the battery length but they cover you with a battery you can plug it into.

Recommend to everyone.

The entire process - from ordering to drop-off at the post office was seamless and very easy. It is a great help to have connectivity while traveling.

I loved having wifi on a recent trip to Japan. Japan wireless was easy to order online, pretty convenient to pick up at the airport ( i flew into Narita) and very easy to use! We travelled up to Nikko, to the Japanese alps ( Matsumoto and area), Kyoto, Hikari, Nagasaki and then to Kagoshima with continuous good quality wifi - even in the middle of the national park or on a mountain walk. Drop off when we were done and leaving Japan was really easy too. I would recommend this product to anyone wondering what to do for wifi service.

We got the Device at the Tokyo HANEDA Airport and it worked without problems from the beginning to the end.
Even during the usage we had a small customer service request (due to our own fault) and it got answered immediately.
Even with the slower speed Flatrate we had a faster connection than the most Hotels. I can really recommend Japan Wireless!
