I’ve been using Japan Wireless pocket WiFi for 3–4 years during my twice-annual visits to Japan, and it has been a reliable companion throughout my trips. I really appreciate the convenience of having the device delivered directly to my destination upon arrival and the hassle-free return process—just drop it in a mailbox. The connection is consistently reliable, even in rural areas.

Recently, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in battery life compared to previous years, which is a fantastic development.

However, the rental price has increased substantially compared to three years ago. I hope they consider making it more affordable in the future to maintain its appeal.

I’m very glad I ordered this wifi box for my 3 week stay in Japan. It provided me essentially unlimited access to wifi on the go and the speed was always good. Compared to my friends who got e-sims, I didn’t have to worry about running out of data like they did, or losing signal like they did. I would say the wifi box provided a more stable and convenient experience compared to e-sims. The battery life on the WiFi box is pretty decent too, about 6-8 hours of heavy usage before you have to charge, but they provide a good portable battery so that’s nice!

The device worked as described. My only complaint was that the hours for the pickup location were different from the actual hours, which caused some initial stress.

All of us in the family and friends can share the service which isn’t happening if I buy an E-sim for myself. We are very happy about your service. I have been using your product for years. Thank you.

Wir haben es zu Dritt verwendet, jeder mit 2-3 Geräten und hat alles perfekt funktioniert. Internet war schnell und wurde nie gedrosselt obwohl wir im Zug auch NFL Spiele angeschaut haben. 2026 werde ich es nochmals buchen.

It worked very well! Only had to restart it once in the beginning, and then no problems for 19 days.

My wife and I recently visited Japan for three weeks. We were able to roam around multiple cities and multiple locations with no issues of loss connect connectivity. Highly recommend Japan wireless for your connectivity needs.
