Our trip to Japan would not have been the same without this device! Picked it up at the Narita airport post office, opened the package, and followed the simple directions (in English). Worked immediately and for our entire 10 days, giving all our devices reliable, fast WiFi access no matter where we were. The extra battery included was helpful but we only needed it a couple of times (too busy sightseeing to use WiFi except if we needed directions to the nearest noodle shop). Easily returned in the included postage paid envelope by dropping it back off at the airport post office. We will use this again!

I’ve experienced using similar products in other countries we’ve travelled in but this one is the most reliable of them: one full charge lasts us until about 6PM, and by that time, we are on our back to the apartment. It was also very convenient to pickup & return (Post Office/Post Office) because a return packaging is already included. I will use this again this March 2019 when we’ll have our family trip to Japan. Highly Recommended!

This pocket wifi is a must for anyone who is planning a trip to Japan. We never had an issues with reception and having wifi everywhere we went was amazing. We had to use Google maps every single day during our endeavours around Japan. The extra power bank that came with the pocket wifi was clutch for when it was low battery. Highly recommended!!!

Especially outside of big cities,

Having the mobile router added greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday and having access to google maps allowed us to navigate unfamiliar cities with ease and visit many sites we otherwise would not have managed to find.
We had very good WiFi coverage and I cannot remember any time we did not have WiFi access.
Being supplied with a backup battery was also a great asset.
