I had 0 issues during my 18-days trip with this WiFi router. The price is reasonable for Japan and it was the cheapest one I found online. It's a good choice if you're traveling in a group.

Easy to pick up at the airport. Just follow the easy instructions to connect to WiFi . Works seamlessly. The hardest part was not forgetting it in the hotel or not turning it on. Easy addressed return envelope.

A seamless process from start to finish. The mobile WiFi was essential for getting about Japan's amazing infrastructure. The router was reliable and operated faultlessly. Five stars from me guys!

We decided to use pocket WiFi over a SIM card for our 9 day trip for two people to Japan and it was the best decision we made! No faults whatsoever with the internet and extremely easy to use, it worked perfectly for us by allowing us constant use of navigation apps throughout Japan, and to keep us in touch with our families overseas.

I traveled to Japan for the first time and one of the most important things to have is internet access. The landscape and surroundings are very beautiful and you take photos but cannot share them unless you have internet access. There are many companies who offer this service but Japan Wireless was the one recommended to me and they did not disappoint.
The whole process was easy and pretty straight forward. You purchase it online and you are given specific instructiins on where to pick it up. WIFI is available in most places but nothing beats knowing you have a strong consistent steady signal that a pocket Wifi brings to your devices.

Such a hassle-free service, they deliver straight to your hotel and can just drop the device in postal dropbox in Airport before entering boarding gates. Prefer this over using a Sim since data drains my phone battery too fast & I hate having to keep my phone plugged in powerbanks while using. Used this both in Tokyo & Osaka with no issues, free powerbank came in very handy. Would definitely recommend!
