Was easy to find the counter in fukuoka. A little harder to find drop box at haneda. Did everything we expected. The cord given did not work. Bought a replacement and worked fine. Left the new cord for next renter to use.

Worked like a charm and the battery life was amazing.

I really recommend, i had no trouble at all and best part is it lasted me all day , fast internet speed and ,from Narita to Kumamoto 11day trip was amazing

Renting a WiFi device in Japan was incredibly convenient and enhanced my travel experience. Having Wifi is one of those things we often take for granted. With pocket Wifi that's not an issue. The rates were good. The only thing holding back a 5 star rating is power use can be draining if you have more than 2 devices hooked up.

First time to Japan, so wasn't sure how to handle our (internet-powered) navigation, etc. needs. Youtuber Kenesho (?) critiqued many, suggested Japan Wireless as one of the best, also mentioning they include an extra power bank for free. Grabbed mine at Terminal 3 Haneda Airport. Took 2 minutes. Size is smaller than cell phone. Power bank = cell phone size. Nice pouch to carry it.
Two tips ... make sure it works, BEFORE you leave the airport. No issues with ours. Secondly, it takes a while to charge the pocket wifi, so allow TIME, and/or carry the power bank also. We found we usually didn't need the power bank. We ran 3 - 6 devices off it.
Internet speeds were no issue. IF you have teenagers, put them in charge of KEEPING the pocket wifi CHARGED. Once they learn their internet access is depedant on that pocket wifi, they WILL keep it charged. Lol.
The staff and communication by Japan Wireless was great. Use them, as it was great.
