Great device to stay connected to internet. Does need to be charged regularly but the power bank provided didn't hold charge for very long so it is best to charge direct to USB wall charging port.

Had a two-week trip to explore Japan recently, and wireless service was an absolute must! In addition to exceptional service, convenience (they deliver the hot spot and make it super-simple to drop off), and customer service - all absolutely outstanding. We were due to leave from Tokyo on the same day the last major typhoon hit, and were stuck for several more days (not a bad place to be stuck, by the way). Japan Wireless proactively contacted us and told us to be safe - and to keep their equipment during our delay at no additional charge (what company offers that level of care and service these days?). An outstanding organization, and truly exceptional ambassadors for the people of Japan - thank you JW!

Excellent service and the pocket wifi worked great

I was very satisfied with such service though at times it shut down. Instructions were given how to reboot

I used JW for 26 days and it was a must for my Japan trip. As I do not speak Japanese, having wifi is essential, even though there are several wifi hotspots throughout the country, neither of them work as good as JW. Also, the internet capacity is very good. As I was able to stream video transmisions with no problem (e.g. a rugby world cup match).

Also the pick up and return was very smooth in the airport.

Definitely I recommend it.
