I have used Japan-Wireless many times and the process is very easy and straight forward. I had a small issue with usage only 1 time and the support team solved my problem immediately (it was my own mistake). Other wireless providers I have checked out have difficult order processes and total costs are not added until you give personal information or sign up. I would recommend Japan Wireless to a first time traveler or to someone that travels to Japan often.

Easy to use website.

While on my trip to Tokyo, a last minute thought was to get something to give us wifi throughout the day. This exceeded and helped phenomenally. The Wifi lasts more than an entire day, so charge wasn't a problem whatsoever. Recommend to me from a friend, and I'm extending that to anyone else going on a trip and trying to avoid international fees. (If you have an iPhone, you can just turn off data and rely on iMessage and Facetime Audio for everything).

We were three days into our three week trip to Japan and decided hotel wifi was too slow and unreliable and the sims we had chewed up too much data so we ordered this on our way to Sapporo. It arrived at our hotel exactly when they said it would. It was so fast. Japan Wireless have outstanding customer service. They communicated to us in English. The wifi was fast and extremely easy to set up. They even sent a return postage paid parcel for us to post back on our departure at the airport. This wifi allowed us to connect 5 devices at once. Would definitely recommend. I will be using it again on my next trip to Japan.

Was waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived and worked flawlessly the entire trip. Battery lasted 10+ hours and never had to use the extra battery pack. I will use Japan Wireless everytime I am in Japan.

Great service and connection

Everything was easy and straightforward - from pickup to dropping it back for delivery. Great speed (at times better than hotels). Extra battery pack ensures the pocket mifi works the whole day. No issues connecting 5 - 7 devices for our group.

This is the second time I rented a mobile wifi device from Japan Wireless, I had no issues with the service...picking up the device at the fukuoka airport was a breeze and the wifi worked flawlessly.
If there was anything that I would improve is the extra battery that was included, didnt hold its charge... but not a deal breaker.
I would definitely rent again.
