With the Pocket Wifi you always are connected. We traveled Japan for 2 weeks and always had the Pocket Wifi connected. We had 2 mobile phones and the Wifi lasted for about 12 hours. We were not worried since they provided a battery pack . Only needed to use the battery a couple of times. This is definitely a must if traveling in Japan.

Worked perfectly all over Japan! I always got a strong signal and it couldn’t have been easier to set up.

Must have for a trip to Japan! Super convenient for a family vacation.

It was a great experience

I spend a 1/1/2 week at Osaka and Kyoto, to play the Pokemon Go Festival 2025 and it requires stable 5G connectivity, 98% of the time it delivers the connectivity I need, during the event and It was a worth it, when I come to Japan again for another Pokemon Go event, definitely will use this service again.

Things to improve some areas in Namba Ward, around den den town, it throttles down a bit, specially with in shopping areas, and some part of the expo 70 commerative park near the lake the speed is sometimes throttling down to 4G instead of 5G, this is my 2%

it really only struggled with service in Hakone, but otherwise it didn't matter where we were we had great service and full bars! We used at least 100gb of data throughout two weeks (for sure 60gb in the first week) without any problems. would recommend!
