Easy and convenient

My wife and I traveled around Japan for 10 days and this device made it so much easier. We with we had this a few years ago when we traveled around Europe. Everywhere we went we had Wifi so we could always find our next route or look up food. The fact that they send a portable battery with it is even better. We used it more to charge our phones, but still it was incredibly handy to have. Highly recommended. The service was also very good. They helped us make sure everything was set up and ready when we arrived in Japan.

I go to Japan every year sometimes twice a year and I always get a pocket WiFi to help with travel needs. My phone carrier has expensive international plans so getting a WiFi thru Japan wireless eases the pocket book while not compromising on speed. It’s ready at the airport or at my hotel, turn it on and good to go with my phone on airplane mode with WiFi on. I have WiFi calling setup on my iPhone so I stay connected to my daughter while I’m away. 9day trip no data cap, google maps, Facebook, Instagram, and words with friends and never a slow down even in the mountains in Hakone. Best must needed tool to have while you explore Japan.

Very good service. When we arrived at the airport, we went to the post office and we had the envelope with the wifi pocket, battery, adapter, cable and envelope to return to the exit. Coverage everywhere, obviously except tunnels, but in the subway. It went very well for the maps, being able to send messages and upload photos. Completely recommendable for travelers, you can connect up to 10 devices and consult at the same time several services.

1st time in Japan and this pocket Wi-Fi was a must in helping the 3 of us get to events and back to the hotel. Great price, unlimited use, backup battery. My only complaint was the pickup at the airport. Needs better instructions on where to pick up (e.g., postal annex on 4th floor at Japan International Airport). We went to a Wi-Fi stand at the 1st floor upon arrival and the rep sent me to the information booth. Took her 20-mins. to figure out where to go and she just said "4th floor" b/c her English was limited. Went to the 4th floor looking for a Wi-Fi booth, but there was none. Our tour guide found me and told me it's at the postal annex. DUH! Huge headache on pickup so better instructions are needed. Other than that, lovely product. Just seal into an envelope for return in their postal system. Would definitely purchase again. Thanks.

From picking up at the airport and bring it back there in a mailbox everything worked fine. Easy to order and no problemes anywhere during my stay.

Great device! Small, good battery (about 10 hours), decent range (about 15-20 meters). We do not know if they Tokyo infrastructure interferes with the speed, but we are constantly at 20-30 mbps. Not an issue for us but may be for others. Other than that, great device! Would definitely recommend.
