A wireless internet is a must when traveling in Japan. Saves you time guessing which train to take, or which place to visit.

Picked up from the airport and got connected straight away. Travelled all over Japan and worked wherever I went.

Many thanks to this device when solo tripping in Japan. Without it I would have struggled and suffer. I time to deliver was a tough one though .

Worked well during our stay in Japan.
Only bad side is the battery which does not last a day, so you need to bring up with you the external battery, otherwise you may end up with no internet. In addition, there is a tendency for the pocket wifi to overheat (which may explain why the battery got consumer quickly ?)
Otherwise, internet was quick and we appreciated the unlimited data which allowed us to surf with a peace of mind

Japan Wireless made it so easy to be wired the whole time we were in Japan. It was simple to pick up the router at the airport when we landed and drop it off again as we were leaving. It supported both me and my husband and the backup battery was great as we never ran out of power.

This wifi is very easy to use and very functional. We had a couple instances where we would not have internet connection but just turning it off and on again did the trick for us. The instructions for pick up and return are simple and easy.
Just don't forget to have it fully charged before you go out and always carry the extra battery they provide, because battery does run out quite fast.

Stayed charged basically all day. I had no problems with signal through out the Tokyo region. The spare battery came in handy a couple times when I was roaming the city for 9 hours.
