Very good! Powerbank not absolut necessary, but ok.

I purchased two 12 days unlimited eSim and it worked flawless during my vacation in Tokyo and Kyoto. I never lost cell connection and I highly recommend this for anyone travelling to Japan.

The rental process was so easy and painless. I opted to have the pocket WiFi sent to my hotel and the package was waiting for me there upon arrival. The WiFi connection was strong even in the mountains of Gifu. I ended up using the pocket WiFi's internet connection even at hotels instead of using the hotel's WiFi.

The return process was simple too. I dropped the package in the hotel post box before boarding the limousine bus to the airport.

I will definitely use the service again next time I'm in Japan.

When I arrived in Tokyo my partner and I did not have E-Sim we turned the data off our phones and we were depending on the Wifi device to be at our hotel when we arrive. We were not disappointed. The service was very simple to setup. 2 of us using unlimited data, fast with no problem.
Will be using this in the future whenever we go back to Japan

This was significantly cheaper than an international plan and it was very easy to connect our devices to the WiFi. We were never without service throughout the trip. Included instructions were easy to follow. Definitely recommend Japan Wireless.
