The unit I used is not exactly the model shown in the picture. It looked a lit bit old, however, we got great reception in most of the places we visited. we used it with 2 phones and 2 tablets. The reception was at least 80Mbps. Highly recommended.

For the first time, I forgot to rent a WIFI for our annual trip to Japan. The hotel staff didn't understand my request for assistance with renting one. My son told me to go online and rent one, and he suggested Japan Wireless. Our WiFi was delivered to our hotel just a few hours later. We appreciate their amazing service. Pick up was easy at our first hotel - it was there at reception as we requested.

Great reception everywhere we went - Tokyo, Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima.

Easy to return at Haneda airport as we were leaving - although we almost forgot and had passed through customs ( the customs officer was very helpful and took us to the Japan Post box).

Back up battery was very helpful on some long days.

The site interface and reserving a unit was extremely easy, and my pocket wifi was delivered to my hotel when I arrived! My unit lasted throughout the day for the most part, with some long days needing some extra charge from the included battery pack. Return was extremely easy as well, as there was a postbox at the airport as I left.

Definitely recommend and will be using again in the future!
