This is the first thing I picked up at the Haneda Airport! The instructor was very straightforward and easy to find the location for pick up. I could survive there without it.

I have rented pocket wifi from this company several times in the past and their service was always excellent, transparent, prompt and courteous. The device works as promised, although the battery life can be short and if using it on the go, it is important to bring back up battery packs. This last rental was a bit of a disappointment, as I rented the device and requested delivery all the way in Okinawa during a typhoon watch. It took 3 days to arrive, but the company anticipated that it would take 5-7 days. They were good about responding to questions and providing updates, but even 3 days can be a long time to wait while traveling. Still, they were good about offering refunds for days when I waited for the device. Returns were pretty easy with a prepaid and addressed envelope to mail the device at any post box. I chose one at the airport, which took some time to find, but I managed. In the future, I will choose this company if I am traveling on the mainland (Honshu), but may use a different company if traveling where postal delivery might take longer.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and delay caused by the typhoon during your stay in Okinawa. While severe weather can complicate postal logistics, we know how essential instant connectivity is when traveling, and even a three-day wait can disrupt your plans. We appreciate your understanding while our team worked to keep you updated and process a refund for the days you were without the device.
Your constructive feedback regarding battery performance, post box locations, and remote island logistics is incredibly valuable to us as we continuously refine our service and delivery estimates.
Thank you again for your continued support, honest feedback, and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next journey to Honshu!
