We were unable to use eSIM so we went with pocket wifi. Other than having to take the time to pick it up at Narita (which did not take very long), everything worked out great! Set-up was easy and my family of four all had reliable wifi access throughout our stay. Highly recommend Japan Wireless.

We had an excellent experience with Mobile Wi-Fi rented from Japan Wireless. We had access to unlimited data whyever we went to in Japan. The rental process was very easy online and we took the delivery in the airport itself,

The unit worked flawlessly with our USA iPhones and iPads and saved us a ton of money instead of using our USA wireless service. We mailed the unit in the enclosed envelope, dropped it off in the red mailbox and received confirmation that our unit was received in good condition. Thank you Japan wireless.

It's my second time using their pocket wifi service and it is very reliable and fast internet across Japan, travelled from Kansai to Sapporo and internet was seamless.

Tried Klook CMHK sim, always 5g but no connection. Japan Wireless indicated 4G in some areas but still manages a more stable connection. Stable, consistent, reliable. A few dollars higher in price, priceless peace of mind.

Great choice for traveling around Japan. Good coverage with no issues, and easy to carry anywhere. My kids were happy the whole trip. 👍

The Pocket WiFi that I rented worked swimmingly no matter where I was, and it worked amazingly when I used my Google Chromecast as well. I will definitely rent again the next time I come back to Japan.
