I had an excellent experience with Japan Wireless during our recent family trip to Japan. From booking to return, everything was smooth and professionally handled.
The device was delivered exactly as requested to our hotel before check-in, and it was ready and waiting when we arrived. Setup was incredibly easy — just turn it on and connect. No complicated steps, no confusion.
The connection speed was fast and stable throughout our entire trip. We used it daily for Google Maps navigation, restaurant searches, train schedules, Disney apps, and video calls — even with multiple devices connected at the same time. It never dropped signal, even while riding the Shinkansen between Tokyo and Osaka.
Battery life was impressive and easily lasted the whole day with normal use. Coverage was excellent in Tokyo, Osaka, and even during our day trips.
Customer service was responsive and helpful. The instructions were clear, and the return process was simple and convenient.
If you’re traveling to Japan and want reliable internet without stress, I highly recommend Japan Wireless. It made our trip smoother and more enjoyable, especially traveling with kids.
Will definitely use them again on our next Japan trip.

It was very handy to have the pocket wifi in Japan. I visited my mom in Sapporo and she doesn't have wifi at home so it was great to have internet access to do everything I needed. I was able to carry it with me everywhere. It was very economical — a great solution!

I had previously rented a mobile hotspot from Japan Wireless and it was great. But, the freedom of the internet just working seamlessly on my phone proved invaluable. Wether it was ordering food at Tokyo Disneyland on their mobile app or requesting a taxi, having a fast connection on my phone was a lifesaver. Just do it!

Easy to pick up at a kiosk in Haneda Airport and drop off at the post box at airport. The equipment works, no problems.
Product：Premium WifiThis is our third time using Japan Wireless and it's always a super convenient way to stay well connected across Japan. The portable wi-fi is really easy to use and offers a good connection. If I had one gripe, it would be that the power pack provided did not keep much charge and would only offer a very short amount of additional power.
Product：Premium WifiEasy online order. Well explained setup. No hassles.
