My wife and I used this for our two phones and never saw a service interruption. Only when we got in certain tunnels, did we see a slightly slower load speed but 9 times out of ten it worked even then!
It was super helpful to have the power bank, but we only used it on days that we were out and about for more than 10 hours.

Great wifi access to go around Japan… a must have. We got delivered in our hotel in Tokyo and we used it although out our stay in Japan for 15 days without experiencing any glitch on the device. We finish it off in Osaka. This pocket wifi works in different cities .

Everything worked seamlessly; from the pickup in the airport to stable internet during our entire trip and returning of the internet box via the prepaid involute we simple returned at the nearest mailbox. This solution will definitely make your Japan visit a lot easier.
