Easy to setup, good for a family

The device was excellent throughout our trip in Japan.

The wifi worked great! I think there was only one area we visited where there was no service, but other than that we had great service and no issues with battery life.

Japan Wireless portable wi-fi was an indispensable companion on our Japan trip. The connection was always strong and reliable. The extra power bank allowed us to be out all day long with continuous internet connection. The only drawback was that the portable wifi unit seemed to be old and it kept on sending out "Exceeded Maximum Data" message. At first it concerned me, since I paid for "unlimited data" plan, but I realized that it continued to provide me data without incurring new charges. So all good.

We used Japan Wireless Premium Wi-fi during our 2-week stay in Japan. We were able to connect our phones, laptops, tablets and stay online, well-informed and well-guided wherever we were. Easy to collect, use and return, excellent performance, indispensable for everything (from bookings to transportation, Google Maps, orientation, tickets etc). We would rent and use again anytime, loved the entire experience!
