I reserved the pocket wifi ahead of time. It was easy to pick it up at the airport and drop off in the mailbox. The pocket wifi worked well almost everywhere we went. We did have trouble getting a signal at the mountain top of Hakone. Overall, we were satisfied with the service.

For the whole time while staying in Japan, I was very satisfied with the Device and quality of the connections, no problems occured, the capacity of the battery was always enough for a whole day, I just can recommend JapanWireless!

Great Wifi and worked everywhere except for some times while traveling on the Shinkansen. Very easy to pick up and return with very easy to follow instructions!

This was our first time to Japan. The unit was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived. We traveled up and down the main island of Japan, and had great coverage everywhere!

We used this hotspot every day for navigation and to look things up without having WiFi nearby. The battery lasted most of the day, but it also comes with a portable battery to keep it going. I would definitely recommend getting this for your trip.
