Used it for 10 days for Japan trip to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Worked well most of the trip but a couple of days towards the end of the trip wi-fi connection was slow or did not work. Had to turn off device and restart a few time. During bus tour up to Mt. Fuji station, it did not work at all. Easy pick-up and return. Package had everything needed.

Rented this WiFi unit for two weeks for two people to use. We had used this last year for a week long trip as well. Easy to connect to with multiple devices.

This time our unit had some initial issues with charging to maximum battery, but despite this, the device still lasted us for a whole day. The company was responsive to our issues via email and offered to switch out our device, but we ultimately decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.

Pick up and drop off were super easy. The wifi was always really fast, the battery lasted literally all day, and they even give you a little portable charger just in case. If you dont have a phone that can use sim cards this is the perfect option :)

Japan wireless provided fast and reliable Wi-Fi for my visit to Tokyo, Kyoto, and several day trips to smaller cities. My travel party of 2 never had any issues being connected. The Japan Wireless mobile router experience was seamless. The process of ordering was efficient. The router and equipment were waiting at our hotel when we arrived, and returning it was a breeze as I just handed the pre-paid envelope with the router and equipment to the reception desk of our last hotel and they took care of it. The router worked flawlessly, the extra power bank came in handy when we were out all day and into the late night (just be sure to remember to bring the supplied cable!). Be sure you charge the router nightly and make sure the power bank is fully charged (via its indicator lights).

I went with Japan Wireless and it was a great and easy experience. I was able to get what I needed as soon as I landed and was able to return their equipment on my way back through the mail box at the airport. Will definitely use this service once I return.

I’ve been renting WiFi with Japan Wireless for about 4 years and my experience with them is very good. Ordering is easy; they’ll deliver to your home, hotel or even the landing airport. Returns are simple too. They even fixed my problem with a bad router by supplying me a new one within two days. I just gave a 4 star because I feel the connection isn’t as strong as before. Maybe it’s because more people are on the net? Not sure but it was definitely faster before. Overall I recommend and have recommended to others and will continue to rent here myself.
