I have always heard of the saying - there is so much to learn from Japan and it’s citizens - i have learned it first hand after my receipt trip there.

Whenever I visit Japan, I find using a Japan Wireless hotspot invaluable. Using the hotspot with unlimited data saves my wife and I money on a daily basis versus using my cellular international plan especially in navigating on Gmaps.

I saw the recommendation for the Japan wireless on the JAL website. I nervously bought it, but it was definitely worth it. The pick up is directly at the baggage claim in the Tokyo airport.The set-up was the easiest. The packet contained a small purse case with power bank, wireless device, plug, USB and instructions sheet.I had excellent network almost everywhere. The network got lost at 1-2 places but that was rare.
The staff at Tokyo airport kiosk were very friendly and helpful. The drop off was easy too. All you need to know is on the single side instructions sheet.

We found this Wifi system to be fantastic for our family of 4 while travelling around Japan. Simple to connect and never ran out of battery even on long days with the battery pack provided. We used Japan Wireless last time we went to Japan and saw no reason to change a good thing.
