This is the best way to have wifi in Japan. We ordered 2 for our family and it was perfect. Pick up was easy and drop off was easier.

Good service easy to connect

The pocket wifi service was excellent. It was very easy to collect, and came with everything that you need in a nice little pouch. It also lasted a full day of sightseeing and wandering about Japan, but also came with the extra battery bank. It was also very easy to drop off at the airport once we were heading home. I would certainly recommend to travellers visiting Japan, this was a super handy and easy to use service.

Having internet in Japan made my trip so much easier especially with looking up public transport routes, it is such a lifesaver. Flawless experience with Japan Wireless. I would only lose internet where any other service would: When passing though tunnels, mountains, or countryside on a train. But that's expected.

The battery time was better than I expected too. Japan Wireless was nice enough to include an external battery, but honestly, the main device's battery never ran out for me in a single day. Maybe I was just conservative with my battery usage, I was almost exclusively using Google Maps, and maybe just a bit of Facebook on the side.

Japan Wireless also has some very good options both for delivery and return. I could schedule not just the day but also the approximate time for the delivery to my hotel, and I just picked it up from the reception. On the way back home, I just put the equipment in a return envelope provided by Japan Wireless, no need to write or figure out anything on the envelope, and slipped it into a postal box in the airport (remember, before security).

100% recommended experience for traveling comfortably in Japan (also, thanks to Trash Taste for just generally recommending getting a pocket Wifi to travel in Japan!)

For our short trip in Japan, the product and service works perfectly and the coverage is awesome for urban area. We have no trouble at all, and on-line almost 24/7, find helpful information, video chat with family etc. I will definitely use the service again.
