Great service! Would recommend

I have been using this service everytime i go to japan for a vacation and i never got any big issues with it.

Commonly restarting it fixes connection issue. But one time it can't get internet connection and needed a hardware reset to fix. So i suggest that you check out how to perform the hardware reset of the model you will receive after getting it just to be sure. But this rarely happens, i encountered it only once in all this time i am using their service.

I am always just going around tokyo and it mostly have connection, only area i encountered where it got no connection was while on train going to fuji-Q highlands. Just in a short part of the ride. If i remember correctly it is still usable even at mt. Fuji, not 100% sure since it was in 2017 and my friend is the one who rented.

I prefer pocket wifi than sim since i bring two mobile phones. In case one phone had problem/issue or broken/missing i can just use the other phone and continue what im doing.

I would book with Japan Wireless again if I come back to Japan. It is really very convenient to arrange online and JAL ABC Counter finds my order easily, and it is also very easy to return with the mailbox option. We did not have any issues with the signal at all. We even worked on our laptops with it.

Great coverage and speeds and easy to use. Battery lasted the day easily, even though we had a spare we didn't need to use it.

The Wifi worked great all day, and I didn't even need to use the backup battery that was included. I will definitely get it again next time I'm in Japan.

Our experience with our Japan Wireless pocket wifi device was all we'd hoped it would be. It was easy to pick up at Narita Airport and easy to set up and connect to once we arrived at our hotel. For a reasonable price, three of us were connected to wifi all day while we were wandering the streets of Tokyo and Kyoto-- making it possible to find our way around by foot or by train, and also allowing us to translate signs and menus as we went. We appreciated the included charger and ease of returning the wifi device at the end of our visit. Thank you for an excellent experience!

I booked the 4G router for a 12 day trip to Japan. I arrived and the router was already at my hotel, it activated immediately and has always worked very well, in all the places I have been.
