We went to Japan and hesitated - should we get an eSim or Wifi Point. We got a Wifi point with Japan Wireless. Throughout our trip of 17 days we used it for navigation, streaming video etc. Connected our phones, tablets and cameras to it. Never a moment did we have slow internet or no access.
The logistics are nice as well: the pickup at Osaka airport was very well arranged, drop off in Tokyo also easy. Emails remind you to pick-up and drop off. Good service and will use this again!!

The whole process of ordering, hotel collection and airport return was straightforward & efficient. WiFi worked seamlessly throughout our 3 week trip on 3 separate devices. The power bank was a bonus. Gold Insurance good value also.

Hiring a portable WiFi was the best decision! I highly recommend Japanese Wireless. The pickup at the airport was simple and posting it back as I left Japan meant I could use it to the last minute.

This little thing was the best and most important investment during my family's trip to Japan. Anywhere we were, we were all able to connect to the wifi and receive sms texts, send photos and videos, and of course, connect to the internet. Should I ever return to Japan, I will 100% be using this service again.
