We rented a business wi-fi from Japan wireless for our holiday. It allows up to 10 people to connect at once, which meant all four of our family members could be on line simultaneoulsy - brilliant for checking restuarant reviews while using google maps etc. Superb coverage, fast connections and excellent value. It really helped our holiday go smoothly. Highly recommended.

Great WiFi router. Lasts about 8-10 hrs easy. The one I ordered came with an extra portable battery charger and a cord to charge it with in case it died during the day. Strong signal from Tokyo, to Kyoto, and in Kinosak, Tooya. The only times it didn’t work was when trains went through tunnels in the mountains - even then signal returned very quickly upon leaving the tunnels.

Easy pick up at the Narita airport Post office and easy drop off at a post office box located at the Narita Airport right before entering security.

Comes with everything you need including a convenient bag to carry it around in along with the battery and charging cord. Was in a multi-story arcade in Akihabara and I still had reception (albeit weak but enough to text where are you and receive a response) when my fiancée was on the 3rd floor and I was on the 5th floor.

Highly recommended.
