I am an Australian travelling in Japan for 12 days - my 10 day physical SIM ran out and I realised I could not feel safe without internet. I sat in Starbucks and installed Japan Wireless eSim - it took about 10 minutes to set up and worked very well. I will always use this service when travelling in Japan from now on.

So easy to pick up and use. Drop off was easy too. It was a little slow even though it said unlimited. Maybe there’s a cap to high speed internet but it still worked for navigation.

I have used this company 3 years in a row when visiting Japan and had no problems

We used the wifi over two weeks in Hokkaido and I never noticed any loss in coverage no matter where we were. We did drive all over the island and I was very impressed with the service.

I recently used Japan Wireless Wifi for an 11-day trip, and unfortunately, my experience was less satisfactory compared to my previous rental in January.

This time, the unit I received was not fully charged upon pickup; it was only at 50% battery. More critically, the unit itself seemed less reliable and did not last the entire day on a single charge, unlike the unit I had in January, which consistently provided all-day power. This made it challenging to stay connected throughout my daily activities.

I hope this feedback helps improve the service for future users.

So easy and WiFi service was great!! We had a digital WiFi service from another company and the service was horrible! Ended up ordering from Japan Wireless online 2 days into our 14 day trip. Delivery to the hotel was so fast and convenient. Returning it with the self addressed/stamped envelope was a breeze. I highly recommend Japan wireless and will be a repeat customer in the future.

Once again we used Japan Wireless to get hotspots for our trip to Japan. They are easy to work with and the wifi hotspot was at the hotel waiting on my when I arrived. We did have one unit that was experiencing short battery life. Other than that, they performed very well.

This delivered an excellent experience for a trip around Japan with my family. Easy to do and set up. I would recommend it for anyone travelling with multiple people.

It just works. So easy to set up prior to arrival, and it works once you get there. No hassle or need to do anything once you land. Highly recommend!

We got the 1 month package and used it all over Japan. We had 1-3 people on it and used it all day long. Rarely had any signal loss, and that was mostly inside basements of large buildings. I'll use it again next trip.
