It is quick and easy to acquire, use and return. Even provides a charger and portable rechargeable battery.

It worked almost everywhere

American here. Those with Metro PCS they don't have JP covered (as of May 2023 I'm writing this). If you want to stay in touch with loved ones easily as well as have the wifi to use Google maps or Navitime, this is good. It is kinda confusing at Narita to pick up if you choose the post office option because Arrivals are a bit hectic. Be sure to go to the Elevators to the 4th floor terrace and head left. A red mail box tells you--you've arrived at the post office. It was also easy to send back. They also gave me a bonus power source to charge up and use for both my phone and wifi. Riding on the Shinkansen was so pleasant. And navigating was also good.

The only downside is if you are in a highly populated area, the Wifi might cut out. You are going to have to rely on your sense of direction after that haha. If you are bad with directions, I recommend just waiting out the storm. Customer service did get to me pretty quickly when I grew concerned with the drops in Wifi.

Sorry for the long review I just want you all to know how it went for me and what to expect when landing. I forgot a lot of stuff because JP had been closed for so long (Anyone from the future who reads this: Look up Covid-19 and lockdown lol) that I didn't even remember where to go in Narita terminal when I thought I knew it like the back of my hand.

Cheers!

Reliable connections from Osaka to Kanazawa to Yudanaka then Tokyo. Fast connection.
Will rent again.

Von der Lieferung ins Hotel, über die Qualität des Produktes und der Performance, bis zur Rücksendung hat alles perfekt funktioniert.

An essential part of our trip. Never let us down and was incredibly easy to use. Would highly recommend.

Great service! 👏👏👏
easy to use.
I highly recommend the use of this device 👍👍👍

We picked up 2 hotspots, 1 worked fine with all cables and batteries. The other did not work or charge with the provided cable. Picked up a cable from the store and it worked fine. We found there was a day where the speed and connection struggled and we could not message or use line or maps while in a store at Umeda that was crowded. Over all everything worked well, with only a few issues.

The end to end customer experience was fabulous - clear instructions on email, easy to find and complete pick up in under 2 minutes at Narita, just a few second easy set up and excellent connection in all areas we went to including the mountains, easy drop off at the post box in Haneda.

By far the best experience regarding wireless I have ever had. Will definitely choose Japan Wireless every time.

Our mobile Wi-Fi worked great! Lasted a full day from sun up to sun down and we had service everywhere we went. We will definitely use the service again.
