Get a pocket wifi! Best decision I made. The whole process was easy and efficient. They deliver to where you are staying and you simply just need to turn in through a mailbox when done. It was small enough to fit in every bag I used and it was very convenient to have wifi every second I had it with me. Made getting around Japan so much easier and less stressful.

Great value for money. Device was sent to our first hotel in Japan and got clear instructions with it. Additional battery and charging cable provided. Connectivity throughout the Tokyo - Hiroshima region which we travelled was good. Also, instructions for sending back the device were clear. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I hired the Japan Wireless premium device for our recent trip to Japan in May 2023. The device was waiting at our hotel when we arrived, even though I had booked it for the next day, so the fact that it had been delivered earlier was much appreciated. The device worked extremely well in all the destinations we travelled to, ie. Tokyo, Hakone and the surrounding areas of Hakone, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima. The device battery lasted over 12 hours for our use which was mainly for maps and other internet searches and emails. A spare battery was provided which was handy if we had needed to recharge the device on the go. Both of us used the wifi without any issues. I would definitely recommend Japan Wireless. The price is extremely reasonable and it was so reassuring to have a reliable internet connection available at all times when working out travel options such as local train travel.

This is the third time I have used Japan-wireless when visiting Japan. Very convenient to be able to pick it up at the post office within the airport so I can use it right away.
I do recommend that if you have more than 3 people with you to purchase another one as too many devices on one wifi device slows it down a lot.
I have recommend this to any of my friends that are looking to visit Japan.

Travelled around Japan and I never had any issues. Very reliable connection and battery life.
