Pickup at Narita was easy and setting up the pocket wifi was very straightforward. It was a fast connection and our whole family was able to use it at once. I would definitely rent one again should we return to Japan.

Easy to use and no issues with internet connection.

I paid for the unlimited service and had no problems whatsoever. I had service everywhere from Osaka to Hokkaido. Will definitely use this service again if I'm ever back in Japan.

The title of this review says it all. We got coverage in 95% of the places we were at, the other 5% was deep in the mountains.
The price is the cheapest on the market for unlimited + they give you an extra battery, useful for recharging.

I have not tried other options, but since this one delivers on all the promises at the lowest price on the market, I would not be inclined to try other options.

Our recent trip to Japan was made far easier and cheaper by pre-purchasing portable WiFi from Japan Wireless. The device was delivered to our first hotel-in fact it was there when we arrived. We had unlimited data with us at all times and the return if the device at the airport via the post was very easy. Highly recommended.

My first trip to Japan I order the pocket WiFi last minute, so I couldn't pick it up at the airport. I called the company and they were very polite and would haply send it to where i'm staying, but I was going to stay at another hotel before the shipment could arrive. they asked if they can get the name of the next location that i would be staying at and they will send it there. for a company that look out for the guest like that deserved a 5 star rating. I will definitely use them in the future times when i visit japan.

My wife and I Recently enjoyed a magical two weeks traveling in Japan. Before we went on our journey we pre-ordered a WiFi in your pocket device from Japan Wireless. Upon our entry into the arrivals concourse of Narita Airport Terminal 2 we went to Level 3F where we picked up our device from a very welcoming lady at the Post Office. Within moments we were up and running and connected. Being on our Retirement Holiday it made both of us AND our family at home feel connected, reachable and secure. The strength of signal was very good and the extra battery gave us ALL DAY connection. Our family at home enjoyed our holiday as much as we did as between them they followed us everywhere we went on Find My Friends.
For my wife and I as a newly retired couple we felt Safe, Connected even when Remote.
We would Highly recommend Japan Wireless.

Everything was really easy. Pick up. Drop off. Using the device. Came with a battery pack that I don’t think we ever actually used cuz the battery life was decent anyway. Fast and reliable signal. Would definitely use it again. (I travelled around Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka, no issues)
