Japan Wireless were great to deal with. The equipment worked perfectly the whole time. The pick up and drop off process was seamless. Highly recommend.

Easy to use, great to have

Really happy with my sim, we have spent 3 weeks traveling around Japan and the internet on my phone worked perfectly everywhere! Definitely recommend people use this as it is very reliable!

We used our pocket WiFi for 24days travelling throughout Japan. It was primarily used for google maps, google translate, emails and socials. It worked perfectly each day without slowing down. We are very happy with this product

Excellent service and easy to collect from the airport. Unfortunately I made an error and had the pocket wifi sent to the wrong terminal but used the terminal bus to go to the other terminal. We could even use the devices in quite remote areas without an issue. We also had multiple devices using the pocket wifi at once. Better than an eSIM for data because it saves phone batteries

Having internet access may have been an optional extra in the past. But in 2024, having reliable internet access to Google translate and maps is an essential part of effective travel.

Now, you have a choice of eSims or these wifi boxes.

The advantage of eSims is that each traveler has their own access. The downside is that you tend to run out of data quite quickly.

You don't run out of bandwidth with these wifi boxes, and once connected, our Android phones had problem-free access all the time.
You simply charge the box at night (standard usb-c link).

Pick up and drop off are clearly (and visually) explained. The gear comes in a small travel pouch. I managed to lose the spare powerbank, and that was resolved efficiently. In true Japanese style, the support service is super-courteous and efficient.

Pre ordered wifi pack from Japan wireless before leaving Australia.
Package was waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived.
Had fast, unlimited wifi for the whole trip for myself and my wife.
Easy to return, just post back from PO Box at airport with the supplied envelope.
All in all a great experience.
